Hitwise: Short Stay for Lost

According to Hitwise, CBS topped ABC to become the top-ranked broadcast-network Website for the week ending Feb. 13, dropping ABC to second place.

After surging to No. 1 during the week of Feb. 6, ABC’s Lost lost its place on the charts, slipping out of the top three broadcast-network-show Websites. Fox’s American Idol took the weekly crown, followed by ABC’s The Bachelor and CBS’ Survivor.

Comedy Central’s South Park held onto the top spot for cable networks (adults only) again, but the No. 2 and 3 spots saw new entries, going to Discovery’s Deadliest Catch and Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club, respectively.

When combining broadcast and cable networks, the top two were unchanged from the week of Feb. 6: Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and South Park. Idol moved up into the third spot.

The lone fast riser on the broadcast list was CBS’ Undercover Boss (to No. 7 from No. 33).

Cable’s fast risers were MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show (13 from 24), Food Network’s Mexican Made Easy (15 from 26), ABC Family’s Make It or Break It (17 from 28), and MSNBC’s Morning Joe (23 from 40).

Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were Deadliest Catch (5 from 16), Undercover Boss (18 from 92), Nickelodeon’s The Penguins of Madagascar (19 from 52), and MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann (24 from 35).
