Hitwise: MSNBC’s Morning Joe Starts to Percolate

ABC and CBS claimed their usual spots atop the list of broadcast-network Web sites for the week ending June 26, coming in first and second, respectively, according to Hitwise.
The top three broadcast-show sites were unchanged from the previous week, with Fox’s American Idol claiming the top spot, bumping fellow Fox series America’s Most Wanted to second. CBS’ NCIS was third.
As usual, Comedy Central’s South Park boasted the most-viewed cable-show site, followed by ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars and Comedy’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
When combining broadcast and cable networks, the top three sites were unchanged from the prior week: Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, South Park, and Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb.
The lone fast riser on the broadcast list was ABC’s Wipeout (to No. 5 from No. 31).
Cable’s fast risers were MSNBC’s Morning Joe (9 from 57), TNT’s Leverage (17 from 80), Spike TV’s Guy’s Choice (18 from 46), and SyFy’s Warehouse 13 (25 from 84).
And the only fast riser in the combined top 25 was Morning Joe (18 from 105).
