Hitwise: Big Moves by Big Brother
As usual, ABC and CBS were the top two broadcast-network Web sites for the week ending July 10, according to data from Hitwise.
CBS’ Big Brother put the top spot on the list of broadcast-network show sites under lock and key, bumping last week’s winner, Fox’s American Idol, to No. 2. Fellow Fox offering America’s Most Wanted remained in third place.
The top three cable-network show sites were unchanged for the third consecutive week: Comedy Central’s South Park, ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, and Comedy’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
In the cable-news category, which was introduced last week, MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show overtook fellow MSNBC show Countdown with Keith Olbermann for first place, dropping Countdown to second.
