Good item today on The Daily about two very different celebrity reactions to the public’s outrage over an October visit by Hollywood folk to Chechnya for “City Day” celebrations coinciding with the 35th birthday of the Russian republic’s brutal leader, Ramzan Kadyrov.
While Hilary Swank donated the fee she received to charity and fired her PR folks (in what some deemed an unfair scapegoat move), Jean-Claude Van Damme, who was also on the trip with her and Seal, has done no such thing.
