At the final day of the US-Africa Business Forum in Washington this week, First Lady Michelle Obama and former First Lady Laura Bush joined Cokie Roberts to discuss educating women and girls.
“We can’t waste this spotlight,” said Obama before an audience of many first spouses at the forum. “It is temporary. And life is short. And change is needed. And women are smarter than men.”
