HGTV Magazine to Increase Rate Base

The magazine is a certified hit.

The good news for HGTV Magazine—a joint venture between Hearst Magazines and Scripps Networks Interactive—keeps on coming. The magazine is set to raise its rate base next year to 1.25 million, up from 1.2 million.

The jump marks HGTV Mag’s sixth rate base increase since it launched in 2012.

The title was a hit from day one. The first issue was so popular Hearst had to print an additional 135,000 copies.

The July/August issue of HGTV Mag hits newsstands June 16.
