Follow this guide to send DMs in the Twitter mobile app
While many Twitter conversations take place through public replies, the platform also allows users to have private conversations by sending direct messages. If you’ve yet to try Twitter’s DM feature, our guide will show you two ways you can do so.

Step 1: Go to the profile of the user you wish to message.
Step 2: Tap the “Message” button under the user’s profile banner.
Step 3: Type your message.
Step 4: Tap “Send” to send the message.
