Here’s How to Save Tweets as Drafts on Twitter

Follow this guide to save tweets as drafts in the Twitter app

Have you ever been in the middle of composing a tweet, and something interrupted you before you could post it? Did you know you can save tweets as drafts and come back to them later? Our guide will show you how.

Save a Tweet as a Draft

Step 1: On the “Home,” “Notifications” or “Me” screens, tap the “New Tweet” button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Begin composing your tweet.

Step 3: When you’re ready to save the tweet as a draft, tap the “X” in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 4: Tap “Save draft.”

Access a Saved Draft

Step 1: Tap the “Me” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the gear icon under your profile banner.

Step 3: Tap “Drafts.”

Step 4: Tap a draft to open it.

Step 5: Continue composing your tweet. Note: If you need to save the tweet as a draft again, tap the “X” button in the top-right corner of the screen and tap “Save draft” to save any changes you made.
