Heather Muir is joining Real Simple as its beauty director. Muir comes to the magazine from Fitness, where she held the same role for the past three years. She previously worked at Allure, Seventeen and Cosmo.
In a note announcing the move, Real Simple editor Kristin van Ogtrop wrote, “Beyond her deep, varied experience, Heather has incredible energy, lots of ideas for both print and digital, and a stellar reputation among fellow editors and clients (you have no idea how many people emailed to sing her praises).”
