Hearst Magazines Restructures and Promotes

With the deal for Hachette Filipacchi Media finally closed, Hearst has begun to shuffle around staffers and deal with adding all the new magazines. Yesterday Kevin O’Malley moved from Esquire to Elle, and today the company has announced a few more changes.

James B. Meigs, Editor-in-Chief of Popular Mechanics, has been named Editorial Director for the newly created Men’s Enthusiast Group. Meigs will now oversee Popular Mechanics as well as new titles Car and Driver and Road & Track.
