'Hansel & Gretel' Released As iPhone App
The classic Grimm’s Fairy Tale, Hansel & Gretel, has a new digital edition availble as an iPhone app. A Japanese company named DICO has released the Hansel & Gretel app under its Momonga brand.
The app features beautiful illustrations by Ten Sato and a soundtrack composed by Kumi Tanioka (who worked on the Final Fantasy series). The interactive adaptation of the story lets the reader find hidden objects. It’s also got narration tracks in seven languages—Japanese, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and Catalan.
