The buzz at Salon Gregorie’s in Newport Beach is that … the buzz is at Salon Gregorie’s at Newport Beach. Celebrity stylist Dusty Simington recently filmed a pilot for a reality show called Making the Cut, about his apprentice hairstylists that’s currently being shopped around.
Sitting in his chair Friday afternoon, longtime client Emily Watkins warned that if the show gets picked up, the salon’s parking lot will be swamped with tourists. And she should know.
