Gwen Ifill, Nicole Wallace Make Elle‘s Women in Power List

A DC power list, with or without the gender specification.

Gwell-Ifill-OTUElle Editor-in-Chief Robbie Myers and Hugo Boss Americas president and CEO Dr. Gerrit Rützel honored the 10 women chosen for the publication’s fifth annual “Women in Washington Power List” last night at the home of the German ambassador to the United States.

“PBS Newshour” co-anchor Gwen Ifill and “The View” co-host Nicole Wallace represented the media personalities in a list that included Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, among others.

The women are featured in the April issue of Elle, where Ifill brings New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s tale of two cities concept to Washington:

There’s the city I live in, where people go about their lives, and there’s the city I cover, which is where people feud and infuriate the rest of the country and don’t seem to get to the bottom of anything.
