Guinness World Records Releases Paid App

Guinness World Records has a new app coming out specifically designed for the iPad. After launching app in lite mode this past spring, the full version of the Guinness World Records: At Your Fingertips app launches this week in the App Store. It will feature videos and games and it retails for $4.99.

Publisher’s Weekly has more: “The Web site, like the new app, allows users to compete in certain contests and potentially break a standing world record, and be published as a new record holder in the next Guinness edition.
