Guardian Names Chief Digital Officer

Zach Brand moves on from NPR.

The Guardian’s parent, Guardian News & Media (GNM), has named Zach Brand chief digital officer.

Brand most recently served as NPR’s vp of digital media and services. He had been with NPR since 2007. Brand previously worked for The Washington Post.

Brand will report to Guardian editor in chief Katharine Viner and GNM CEO David Pemsel. He will also sit on the GNM’s executive committee.
