Facebook Groups Lose Search Box, About On Pages
Facebook introduced another small design tweak to its groups, de-emphasizing the search feature, while assigning permanent tabs to about, events, photos, and docs.
Facebook introduced another small design tweak to its groups, de-emphasizing the search feature, while assigning permanent tabs to about, events, photos, and docs.
As reported by sister blog Inside Facebook, the search box is gone form group pages, replaced by a small search icon all the way on the right-hand side under the photos.
The about section is not as prominent, either, as the short description that previously appeared on the group page is now housed behind a tab.
The new design is pictured below, followed by the older version.
