Green Envy: Another Enviro-Friendly Title To Launch

Not content to let the wildly successfully treehugger.com, Al Gore or special issues of Vanity Fair set the “green” agenda, New York-based Cottages and Gardens Publications is launching its own green magazine, Verdant, because, as the comapny’s vice president Michael Ekstract, “green is going mainstream.” The magazine is set to launch in September.

According to Verdant editor Sharon King Hoge, “Verdant is nothing like the typical environmental magazine. Verdant is designed for influential readers who seek realistic ways to implement green strategies to improve their lives and reduce their impact on the environment.”
