Grandma Mary Has Fallen But She Has Gotten Up
We previously brought you the news that Politico’s James Hohmann’s grandmother tumbled down a flight of stairs earlier this week while going to retrieve her LAT newspaper. Here’s an update.
Hohmann’s grandmother has been released from the hospital and is on the mend. (Maybe her grandson should send her a fruit basket like this, hint hint.)
“I spoke with my grandmother after the hospital released her tonight,” Hohmann wrote to FishbowlDC. “She has a ‘humongous’ brace on her leg, and her hip – which popped out of its socket – still hurts pretty badly.
