Got Milk? Facebook Now Does

One of these things is not like the other: gambling, tobacco, dairy, firearms, prescription drugs, gasoline.

If you guessed dairy, so did The Center for Consumer Freedom, which successfully urged Facebook to remove dairy from the list of products banned from being promoted on the social-networking site, Inside Facebook reported.

Facebook manager of public-policy communications Andrew Noyes told The Associated Press Facebook was trying to comply with “state laws that impose penalties for distributing dairy at a discounted rate,” adding, “We’re all big fans of strong bones at Facebook, and we will soon revise our promotions guidelines to lift the complete ban on dairy and simply prohibit giving dairy away as a prize.”
