2012 has seen over 1.3 trillion Google searches in 146 languages.  So what has the world been searching for?  Google’s 12th annual Zeitgeist Year-In-Review is out and it reveals the biggest search trends of 2012.

The Zeitgeist compiles the top 10 trending searches, images, athletes, events, people, feature films, TV shows, performing artists, consumer electronics, airlines and Google+ hashtags.  The top 10 trending search queries, which saw the “highest amount of traffic over a sustained period of 2012 as compared to 2011,” are as follows:
