Google Voice For Android Update
An update is now available in the Android Market for Google Voice that decreases the time it takes to receive notifications for new text messages and voice mail. Previously the Android application polled the Google Voice server every 15 minutes to check for new text messages and voice mail. With the update the Google Voice Inbox now synchronizes with the handset as soon as an item arrives, similar to how mail arrives in Gmail.
The update also includes an improvement in showing what actions you can take on items in the Google Voice inbox.
