Google Reportedly to Launch Music Streaming at I/O Conference Tomorrow

The company, which has struggled to keep up with Apple in terms of media offerings, has reportedly signed licensing deals with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, the reports said.

According to The Verge, Google’s subscription services would resemble Spotify, playing songs on-demand on desktop and mobile devices. Apple has also been rumored to be working on a music streaming service.

Google has not confirmed the reports.
