Google Releases Docs Viewer

Google Docs now provides a direct way to view Word (.doc and docx), PowerPoint (.ppt), and PDF files on the iPad, Android, and iOS phones without having to download the document to the device. Unfortunately, Google Docs does not provide a way to view Excel documents nor does it support PowerPoint 2007 files. To use the capability, upload a Word, PowerPoint or PDF file to Google Docs, then open docs.google.com in the Android or Mobile Safari browsers and tap the name of the file.
