Google Play Music partnered with TripAdvisor to offer travel soundtracks to users as they browse destinations in the TripAdvisor Android app.
Google Play Music partnered with TripAdvisor to offer travel soundtracks to users as they browse destinations in the TripAdvisor Android application. These soundtracks offer “locally themed” music, based on the city.
That is, as TripAdvisor users browse content for a travel destination, such as Paris or Rome, they will be able to listen to a variety of playlists themed to that location. Playlists are available when users are planning trips, as well as when they’re actually traveling.
In a blog post, Brandon Bilinski, product manager for Google Play Music, commented:
