Every once in a while, Google News struggles with the mechanics of a source site or overlay element. The results can be comical.
Take for example this week’s Grub Street post about Sweets by Chloe, a vegan dessert joint that opened on Bleecker Street. The headline for Sierra Tishgart’s item cited matcha babka and pecan pie, but at the Google News end, readers were greeted with this:
Then there are those cases when the headline is properly grabbed, but the cited text below is a little Age of the Machines.
