Google Maps Now Lets Users Post Questions and Answers on Business Pages

Business owners can also share frequent queries and responses

Google is rolling out a new social feature in Google Maps, allowing users to post and answer questions on business listings.

With this release, users can find a section on every business listing, where they can post questions, answer questions posted by other users, and read and “upvote” questions and answers that have already been shared. Questions and answers that receive these “upvotes” will appear at the top of the business’ question and answer section. It’s Google’s answer to Quora—with maps.

When a user asks a question, Google will notify the business owner and “other in-the-know users” to see if they can answer it.
