Google Maps Now Has Live Service Alert for Transit
Google Map has partnered with transit agencies in 800 cities from 25 countries and some of those cities will be receiving live transit departures and alerts for iOS and Android.
The new update gives riders alternative routes in the event of delays from construction or accidents in the form of alerts while showing live departure times. Major cities like NYC, Paris, and Prague are included in the new feature, but the Google Maps team hopes to add more cities in the future.
