Anyone who has played with a GPS on a smartphone knows that its accuracy is dependent on a number of factors and that variation in these factors can cause accuracy variation. Tall city buildings for example can cause all kinds of accuracy issues. So, while Google’s latest street view walking directions feature for Google Maps for mobile for Android looks like a great tool, please be aware that “your mileage may vary”.
