Google Editions "Due To Launch This Fall"
In a Reuters article about indie bookstores, the reporter broke some news about the seemingly postponed launch of Google Editions. It appears that Google’s bookstore–poised to compete with Apple iBookstore and the Amazon Kindle Store–will “launch this fall.”
Check it out: “The [American Booksellers Association] has reached a deal with Google Editions — Google’s digital bookstore, due to launch this fall — that would allow its 14,000 members to sell Google’s eBooks through their websites.”
The Bookseller spotted this little bit of news in the news service article.
