Good News for One New York Paper, Bad News for Another

The Newspaper Association of America has released its annual report on newspaper circulation, and FishbowlNY would like to be the first to congratulate Newsday and The Wall Street Journal for both coming in at first place.

However, not all winning is equal. While the Wall Street Journal won as the only newspaper to increase its circulation over the past year (up almost two percent), Newsday “won” by having the largest decrease in circulation among the top papers in the nation.

Something tells us the staff at Newsday might not be in much of a mood to celebrate.
