Going Straight to the Source for the State of the Union Address
Nearly 1.3 million people apparently decided that CNN was too far to the left and Fox News Channel was too far to the right, so they watched the live stream of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address on WhiteHouse.gov, according to TechCrunch.
The official Web site of The White House offered a live stream of the speech that was embeddable on blogs and other Web sites, and Wednesday night’s results were a tenfold increase over the site’s previous most popular live streamed event, TechCrunch reported.
