Glu Offers $36 million for Superscape
Mobile game publisher Glu Mobile has made a $36 million offer for rival Superscape. Superscape was one of the first to bring 3-D games to mobiles, while Glu quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the major mobile game makers in the US with 2-D games based on licensed brands, the AP reports.
Superscape is based in the UK and has its US headquarters in San Clemente, California. Its 3-D games include Paintball Challenge and Classic Mini Golf, which are offered through Verizon Wireless in the US.
