Glenn Greenwald Departs Salon for U.S. Guardian

Glenn Greenwald is leaving Salon, where he has been since 2007, for the U.S. edition of The Guardian. Politico reports that Greenwald will post daily in the Guardian’s “Comment is Free” section, will pen a weekly column, and his work will also occasionally run in print.

“We’re really, really happy with the people that we’ve signed; they’re all good at attacking what they do in different ways,” Janine Gibson, the editor-in-chief of The Guardian U.S., told Politico. “Glenn has written for us before, and he is a really good fit.
