Glee Gets GLAAD Award

Gay Gleeks rejoice! Saturday night at the Los Angeles segment of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards, Fox’s Glee scored a win for Outstanding Comedy Series. Other winners honored at the ceremony include RuPaul’s Drag Race in the Reality Program category, and Todd Ford’s A Single Man in the Outstanding Film – Wide Release category. Drew Barrymore and Wanda Sykes were presented with awards for promoting gay and lesbian visibility and equality in the media.

This was the second of three GLAAD media award ceremonies.
