Glamour Adds DC Editor

Glamour logo GGlamour has named Giovanna Gray Lockhart a contributing editor, covering Washington, D.C., and politics.

Lockhart comes to Glamour from the office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where she served as a senior advisor. She previously worked as head of business development for branding firm Pearlfisher. She also cofounded Generation Obama.

“I’ve known Giovanna for years, and am thrilled to bring her energy and strategic thinking to Glamour,” said Cindi Leive, Glamour’s editor, in a statement. “As we head into a heated campaign season and beyond, I can’t imagine a better force to bring the important issues and people from both sides of the aisle to Glamour’s readers.”

Lockhart’s appointment is effective immediately.
