GigaOM: Mobile Web a Sticky Propsition
GigaOM was less than impressed with this week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, dismissing the whole thing as “another week full of promises coming out of the wireless industry that we will find eventually use our mobile phones to access the web much like we use our PCs.”
They’re right, of course—many players in the mobile industry share these sentiments, with one telling us off the record that he’s been hearing this stuff every year since 2000.
