Kind of a weird, semi-surreal read from MacWorld: “Moving From Web Design to Print,” wherein James Dempsey suggests that if you’re a web designer and finding the industry a little too competitive, it might be an interesting idea to try your hand at print and production to help subsidize that usual web income. That’s sort of a 180 turn in the world of advice, isn’t it? Regardless, if you are a web person looking to move into print, or, we guess, you’re a completely clueless print person, there’s a nice long rundown of what you’ll need. The thing you’ll find most comforting? Dempsey says that you’ll still be able to use a computer to do your work.
