Sure, the flying AR.Drone flying toy controlled by an iPhone/iPod touch/iPad over WiFi (available for $299 in September) is very cool. But, what if you want something a bit more “grounded”? How about an Android or iPhone controlled rolling ball?
That’s what Boulder Colorado based GearBox is getting ready for, perhaps, in 3 to 5 months according to TechCrunch. This will be a pilot release, however. A full production run is not expected until 2011.
