One of the greatest things about YouTube is that they are always there to give creators a hand with advice about how to create great, viral content. Though the company surely does this with their own interests in mind (after all, the more views videos get the more ad revenue YouTube racks in), you can take their advice about virality, discoverability and more and put it to use in your own video creations. In the upcoming webinar series, ‘Ideas That Worked’, YouTube has teamed up with Effie Worldwide to bring you case studies of Effie-Award winning social media and video campaigns to inspire you, and show you what has worked for big brands in the social media and web video world.
The first installment of YouTube and Effie Worldwide’s ‘Ideas That Work’ series will take place on July 20, 2010 at 2 pm EDT. The webinar is completely free and attendees are encouraged to register on GoToWebinar. The GoToWebinar site also gives a good description of what you can expect from ‘Ideas That Work’:
“Join Effie Worldwide and YouTube for the kickoff of the 2010 ‘Ideas That Worked’ webinar series. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how some top brands effectively connected with their consumers in unique ways.
“The ‘Ideas That Worked’ series spotlights this year’s Effie winners that not only achieved strong marketplace results, but also effectively utilized social media channels, like YouTube, to drive their success.”
