Geraldo No Longer At-Large

Via Mediaweek:

The half-hour A Current Affair-like strip, which began rolling out on the Fox owned-and-operated stations in October 2005, was launched nationally in September. Season to-date, Geraldo at Large ranked last in the magazine/reality genre, with a 1.6 household rating and a 0.8 rating among target adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research data. Comparably, that trailed the No. 5 occupant in the genre, Warner Bros.’ Extra, by a significant 27 percent in both households and adults 25-54.

Supposedly, Twentieth Television will be announcing Geraldo’s replacement next week: another game show.

No word on the fate of Geraldo’s blog, The G Spot.
