George Clooney In Hot Water Over Coffee Ad

George Clooney’s kind of a picky guy. Asked at a Venice news conference about ads for Nespresso, a coffee brand by multinational Nestle which is always under fire for pushing baby formula, Clooney said he did not work for Nestle, he just did the Nespresso ads, which is a fine example of compartmentalized thinking.

“I’m not going to apologize to you for trying to make a living every once in a while. I find that an irritating question,” Clooney said unsmilingly.

Clooney only does classy ads, so making a living must be tough.
