Gannett Launches ContentOne

PaidContent reports Gannett has launched its local/national web hybrid site ContentOne. The site is meant to serve as an easy access point for advertisers targeting readers on both the local and national level. Gannett operates 85 local papers and USA Today.

USA Today will generate most of the stories for ContentOne. The stories will then be passed along to local papers’ sites, “who are instructed to make the content look like their own by adding their respective logos and local ads,” reports PaidContent.
