Game Insight Celebrates Halloween in Games on Mobile, Facebook

Mobile and social game company Game Insight has released Halloween updates in many of its games across Facebook and mobile devices. These games include city-building titles like 2020: My Country, hidden object games like Mirrors of Albion, and more. These updated titles join plenty of other games recently updated for Halloween, from Electronic Arts’ The Simpsons: Tapped Out and The Sims FreePlay to Zynga’s FarmVille 2: Country Escape. If these games, and our roundup of additional Halloween updates isn’t enough, here’s a look at Game Insight’s Halloween-themed updates. Cloud Raiders (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - In this base-building game, players can now take The Flying Dutchman Challenge and defend their base against zombies and ghosts. The game features a new boss each week for four weeks. In addition, there is a new Haunted Island skin for players’ bases, and the game has received exclusive Halloween buffs and potions. The Tribez (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - This tropical city-building game has been updated with All Friendly Spirits' Week, and will see players fight the Pumpkin General and his Pumpkinheads. The Tribez & Castlez (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Facebook) - For its Halloween update, this medieval city-building game allows players to defeat Gobool Pumpkin monsters to earn sweets, which are used to construct a Halloween-themed building. 2020: My Country (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - This city-building game has been updated with 'dozens' of new Halloween-themed buildings and items, including a Witch House and a Ghost House, and characters like Dracula and Jack-o-Lantern. Mystery Manor (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Facebook) - In this hidden object game, players are asked to help Katherine decorate her home for Halloween by finding decorations. The event introduces a new location, The Castle of Pumpkin Shadows, which includes new hound and 'funny ghost' monsters. Players have new quests and collections to complete, and can grow a pumpkin in the basement using 'magical' objects. Transport Empire (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - This economic strategy game has received a new Halloween Pumpkin Train for Halloween. Airport City (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - This airport management and city-building game has received new Halloween quests to complete, as well as ghost planes and themed buildings. Dragon Eternity (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Facebook) - In this MMORPG, players who have reached at least Level 9 can take part in a server-wide Halloween quest, which will give all participants a reward when it's completed. Dragon Eternity is also available to play for free on Kongregate. Maritime Kingdom (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon) - For Halloween, this nautical city-building game has been updated with new quests, chests, monsters and a Halloween boss. Paradise Island (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon) - In this tropical city-building game, players can now fight evil spirits as they complete new quests. The game has also been updated with new buildings and decorations. Paradise Island 2 (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Facebook) - As with the original Paradise Island, this sequel has been updated with evil spirits. However, instead of fighting them, the spirits here help players collect popsicles which can be exchanged for event chests. These event chests help players collect special resources and construct new buildings. In addition, this update features new quests and mini-games, as well as themed resort guests like witches and mummies. Love and Dragons (Free on iPad) - In this medieval hidden object game, players will be challenged to kill monsters like gargoyles and bats after the Spirit of Halloween is summoned in a new location, the Haunted House. In addition, the game has received new quests and Halloween items. Build a Kingdom (Free on iOS, Android, Facebook) - Dracula and his army have come to this medieval city-building game. However, a Vampire Hunter has also appeared. Players will defeat members of Dracula's army to collect crafting items which are used to create a weapon to kill the vampire. This update also features new quests and buildings. Mirrors of Albion (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - For Halloween, this hidden object game set in Victorian London has been updated with the appearance of a Ghost Ship in the city. The Ghost Ship has a carnival on board, which players must investigate. In addition, a Sinister Tree has appeared somewhere in Albion, and players must kill it. Big Business Deluxe (Free on iOS, Android, Amazon, Windows Phone, Facebook) - In this city-building and business management game, players are challenged to construct special buildings to protect their citizens from evil creatures. In addition, the Frigate of Jack O'Lantern will appear in players' towns, allowing players to fight the pirate Jack O'Lantern himself. Finally, a mysterious Guitar Man will appear in the game during this event. Players can bring him elixirs in exchange for rewards, with a reward dropped every eight hours.
