Fusion and Maker Studios Team Up With Cross-Platform Partnership

Will feature unscripted clips

Media company Fusion and online video network Maker Studios have joined together in a cross-platform partnership to theoretically expand the reach of both companies.

The partnership will include a "Maker Block" on Fusion’s television platform. Fusion provides a variety of news, pop culture and satire programming while Maker Studios is a leading distributor to millennial audiences.

The Block will feature digital and traditional talent in a series of unscripted clips. Through themed projects, beginning with a "best of 2014," each series will utilize Maker’s focus on millennials and expand Fusion's digital presence through YouTube.

"Maker has an exceptional track record for identifying talent and content that resonates with millennials in the digital space," Isaac Lee, chief executive officer at Fusion, said in a statement.
