Burberry, Unilever, Shell And M&S Head 2013's FTSE 100 Social Media Index [INFOGRAPHIC]

Since 2009, The Group have been monitoring the use of social media by companies in the FTSE 100, which is a share index of the 100 most highly-capitalised companies on the London Stock Exchange.

The 2013 report sees Burberry Group, who ranked second last year, heading the list, ahead of Unilever and Royal Dutch Shell, who tied for third place with Marks & Spencer Group. Travel and leisure group Carnival, who finished first last year, dropped down to fifth.
