FTI Consulting Reports 10.2 Percent Increase in Strategic Comms Revenue

FTI Consulting, the international business advisory firm, announced its fourth quarter earnings today, reporting a Q4 record $356.2 million in revenues. That’s an increase from $342.9 million year-over-year.

In the strategic communications area, which is housed in its global affiliate firm FD, there was a 10.2 percent increase in revenue for the quarter. Revenue totaled $49.9 million, an increase from $45.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2009.  The Americas and Asia-Pacific were the most successful regions; the U.K. experienced a small decline.

In its 2011 guidance, FTI says it’s estimating revenues between $1.43 billion and $1.49 billion for the year.
