From Obama to McCain Mania in One Plane Flight

On Sunday, we flew from New Mexico to New York City. The magazine displays in the Southwest were filled with various Barack Obama covers, but by the time we got to New York, The Economist‘s John McCain cover had taken to billing. We could be reading too much into this, or perhaps N.M. is just behind the times — having spent a week there, this wouldn’t surprise us — but we thought it was worth noting.
