From Frying Pan To Fire: News Anchor Quits To Become Day Trader
Paul Mueller, news anchor at Providence, RI-based WLNE Channel 6, has quit his job, the Providence Journal reported yesterday. His lawyer says Mueller wants to become a day trader.
The veep and GM of Channel 6 said Mueller’s departure was “rather unexpected.” According to the Providence Journal, GM Stephen Doerr “said he got a telephone call Monday from Carr, saying that Mueller ‘wanted to leave the news business immediately.'”
