FreshPlanet brings movie trivia game MoviePop to Facebook, mobile

SongPop developer FreshPlanet has announced the release of MoviePop on Facebook, bringing multiplayer movie trivia to the social platform.

MoviePop is most easily described as “SongPop, but with movies,” and it comes with the same multiplayer options and unlockable system that allow for playing a customized game on both Facebook or mobile devices.

In MoviePop, players go head-to-head in genre, actor or theme specific trivia rounds, identifying movie clips to earn the most points. Players are given only a few movie categories to start, but can play locked categories if their opponents choose them first.

In each game, players are shown the same five movie clips, in the same order.
