Freaky Friday, the TV edition, continued

Adding to the weirdness today, CBS‘ quarterly numbers became available to Wall Street yesterday, revealing – yes, another TV paradox.

If both overall revenue (up 2%) and TV advertising revenue (up 1%) and ad sales for the CBS network are up (5.8%) why is the stock taking a three cent dive?

As the LAT reports today,

The company posted a $9.14-billion fourth-quarter loss in its first earnings report since being split from Viacom at the start of the year.
